Norfolk Offshore Wind Ltd (NOW) is a consortium of two companies, London Power Company and Enertrag UK, each with expertise in the energy sector. NOW is proposing to construct and operate a wind farm approximately 7km off the seaside town of Cromer on the North Norfolk coast. Posford Haskoning has been commissioned by NOW to carry out an Environmental Impact Assessment of the proposed Cromer Offshore Wind Farm development including both the offshore and onshore elements. This Environmental Statement presents the findings of the EIA. Scoping reports were produced for both the offshore development and landside infrastructure and provided an initial overview of the environmental issues associated with the proposed wind farm.

Lineage | Lineage includes the background information, history of the sources of data, data quality statements and methods. | Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a tool for systematically examining the impacts and effects of development on the environment. The resultant Environmental Statement (ES) contains: - A Non-Technical Summary - A description of the development proposals, including alternatives considered. - A prediction of potential impacts on the existing human, physical and natural environment at the site and an assessment of subsequent effects - A description of mitigation measures to avoid or reduce such effects - A description of monitoring requirements |
